Details: This unit is our most sensitive CO meter with a 0.1 ppm resolution, allowing you to detect the smallest amount of carbon monoxidem making it an excellent choice for testing CO in a scuba cylinder or investigating general air quality. Designed to handle a beating – waterproof, shockproof, and perfect for any outdoor application such as scuba cylinder check, boats, RVs, emergency services, oil and gas, EMS, backpacking, camping, and many others. This CO meter can detect low levels of carbon monoxide in compressed gas or ambient air. It can be used test gas quality in scuba cylinders or to monitor exposure to CO in the ambient air. Ideally, the CO concentration in your breathing gas should be 0 ppm. Divers Alert Network (DAN) recommends less than 5 ppm for safe diving. The Compressed Gas Association (CGA) limit is 10 ppm. For critical applications, calibrate every 6 months and bump test daily, or before use, to verify detector operation.
